“It’s not about staging moments, it’s about capturing the ones that are right in front of you.”

Hi there, we love that you have come to our page! Let us tell you something about our style. For the most part we are documentary photographers, with means we won’t be spending a lot of time telling you how to smile, act or pose. We capture what we see. Whether we shoot you on your wedding day or you book us for something else, our goal is to create an environment where everybody feels comfortable.

Booking papart as your wedding photographer

Congrats on your engagement! If you book us on your wedding day, we would like to get to know you first. We want to know your thoughts, ideas, what moments and which people are especially important to you. We will use this as our inspiration!

We are visual storytellers and every good story deserves good coverage. All of our photos will be put together in an exclusive and handmade book. We work in collaboration with a very talented artist who customises your wedding album. A photo is only a photo when it’s printed.

We wish you the best of luck with all your further preparations and we hope to see you very soon!

Greetings!

We are Papart

parick visser

My name is Patrick Visser and  I live in the Netherlands  with my wife Claudia and our two children. We are definitely not your average family, but that makes for an interesting life.

From the moment I first saw the photo of U2 from the album “the Josha Trees” I knew I wanted to capture images. The timeless photos by Anton Corbijn have really inspired me. In them he let’s you see the real person behind the famous one.

I love to convey a story with my photos. That is why energy, ambiance and detail are essential to my stories, as is symbolism: those are a constant in the images I create. Music and visual art are also elements that make me who I am.

Greetz!

Patrick

Hi! My name is Amber. I’m an outgoing, book-loving artist. Anyone who has ever met me, knows London is my favourite place to be. Why? Art comes alive there and that makes me feel alive. Because we live in a world where most of the things we see are staged, I like my hobbies, my job and, most importantly, the people around me, to be real.

In this repect my dad has always been my role model. He taught me to not let the opinions of other people get to me and be authentic in every aspect of life including my art. He also taught me that photography is an art form at which we capture moments as we see them so our photos will always be real.

Lots of love!

Amber
